Yesterday, Lily’s udder was huge! She had no other labor symptoms. This morning when we checked on her, she was having hard contractions. She was hardly showing, so we thought she would just have one or two. She laid down and started pushing. Out came Euphrates. He just popped right out. She cleaned him, and then she started pushing again. That’s when Pishon came out nose first. She was small enough that I didn’t have to reposition her. There were several minutes without any more kids, so we assumed that Lily was done, but then she pushed out another kid! This one was positioned right, but she must have inhaled fluid, because it took several minutes, and some suction with a bulb syringe to get her breathing. This little girl’s name is Gihon. Immediately after that came a backwards kid. She came out almost completely in the sack! I did need to help with this one, because Lily’s contraction stopped before the kid’s head came out. We named this doeling Tigris. They are all thriving now! All of them are over four pounds! Gihon was struggling for a little while, but she looks healthy now! This is the only set of quadruplets that we’ve ever had! Their dam is Kuchan Lily, and their sire is Beulah Valley Rio. They will all be registered through ADGA. Keep an eye out for new pictures! This year we will name all of our kids rare Bible names. Try to guess what or who the names are from in the Bible. We will leave a clue in the post. The clue is in their names. Leave your guess in the comments.

That is so funny! Great names! I would have never thought to name goat quadruplets the four rivers in Eden! That is also great that you got three does from one mama! Good job, Lily! ☺️
