One Busy Day

On Monday, April 23rd, Gloria started having contractions. We stayed up till midnight watching her. When nothing happened, we went home. She continued having contractions until the morning of April 26th. On that morning she passed a single, undeveloped kid. Her contractions stopped. We are hoping to breed her soon for September or October kids. That same morning I noticed that Sage’s udder was quite larger than before and her ligaments were gone. She had the bony look to her hips. I left and did a few things and came back to find a wet kid with her! The kid was a little chilled and Sage didn’t know what to think, but after a little while they were both great! The kid is a doeling. We named her April. She weighs 4 pounds and 9 1/2 ounces. April looks almost identical to Sage!
